Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman 1984

Was this seriously the movie that they wanted to make?

Anyway … Wonder Woman! She runs around in her underwear, she fights the Nazis. At least that’s what she used to do. Now, she lives in 1984, in the cinematic work of wonderment that is Wonder Woman 1984. This is the largest franchise tentpole directed by a feminist lady person, so our heroes examine it closely to see what it tells us about the state of feminist lady people and action movie-making today.

Note: we did this one on Zoom. The sound quality is not up to our usual standards, but we wanted to get it to you in a timely fashion.
