Over on Genevan Commons, Matthew Dowling announced a special deal on Battles’s edition of Calvin’s Institutes at Amazon, the Kindle Edition. Right now it’s only $7.99—an insanely low price. List price is $72.
Battles is likely the best edition, although arguments will continue over that. We’ve used Battles in Clearnote Pastors College and congregational Institutes reading groups. Having this edition is worthwhile if only for its critical apparatus (footnotes and index).
